E-Visa

Requirements: ORDINARY (SINGLE ENTRY) VISA

An application of Ordinary Visa should be accompanied with the following;

  • Copy of the applicant’s valid passport (biographic data page);

  • Return ticket of the flight;

  • Dully filled in declaration form

  • 50 USD visa fee.

COVID-19

All travelers entering or transiting mainland Tanzania or Zanzibar are advised to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Travelers entering or transiting mainland Tanzania or Zanzibar are not required to present a COVID-19 vaccination certificate or test certificate unless required by their airline, transit destination, or final destination.

Recommended Vaccinations/Pills

Yellow Fever - Generally not recommended for travel to Tanzania.

Malaria Pills - Recommended but not mandatory

While not mandatory to enter Tanzania, it's recommended by the CDC that travelers take malaria pills and start the process prior to arriving in Tanzania. You can obtain the pill from most clinics (CVS Minute Clinic is a good option) or from a doctor/physician.
